We welcome applications on a rolling basis and review status annually.

- Inclusion in the SMCF Nonprofit Directory.
- Eligibility to receive U.S. tax-deductible donations.
- Invitation to apply for targeted project grants and pass-through donations.
- Increased visibility to donors, volunteers, and partners.
- Receive distributions from 1 San Miguel, our annual citywide giving campaign.
- A SMCF digital recognition pin to feature on your website/social.
- Access to expert mentorship, shared resources, and capacity-building support.
- Be located and operating in the Municipality of San Miguel de Allende.
- Hold Mexican A.C. status and/or U.S. 501(c)(3).
- Be up to date with required tax and legal filings.
- Provide basic financials and annual reporting.
- Demonstrate active work and positive community impact.
- If you’re a newer group still building your documentation, we’re happy to guide you. Our goal is to include all the good work happening in San Miguel, not exclude it.
