Financial Transparency

SMCF requires all grantees to demonstrate full financial accountability.
- We publish annual reports and provide detailed documentation of grantmaking upon request.
- Grantees must submit a financial report within 30 days of grant expenditure. Failure to comply may affect eligibility for future funding.
Governance & Accountability

SMCF is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who serve without pay.
- All funds are carefully stewarded to ensure maximum impact in San Miguel de Allende.
- We do not host expensive galas or operate with high overhead; our focus is direct community investment.
