project grants

Member nonprofits may apply for targeted, project-based funding to benefit the San Miguel community. We focus on early-stage A.C. nonprofits with limited access to traditional funding sources, where a modest grant can make a big impact. We’re excited to support grassroots programs that create meaningful, measurable impact.

We offer two grant cycles each year with submission deadlines on April 15 and October 15.

Pass-through grants

Through ‘pass-through’ or ‘turn-style grants,’ SMCF can receive and steward U.S. tax-deductible donations on behalf of early-stage nonprofits serving San Miguel de Allende.

These grants are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you believe this model could support your work, we invite you to start a conversation with our team.
